Friday September 25th at 21:03:10 a huge bright fireball was seen by a group of about 12 astronomers at the Fall’N’Stars Star party 2009.
We were near Thomasburg Ontario.
The meteor was in the west moving top right to bottom left (north east to south west), starting about 40 degrees alt and ending around 20 deg alt.
Estimated magnitude was -10?
Bright white with a lot of green ending with a terminal blast of green just near the treetops.
no images were taken. The time of 21:03:10 EDT was at the end of the event.
Our allsky camera did not capture the images.
