Comet Garradd

On the morning of September 2nd, 2011 we went outside nice and early (03:00 local) to observe Comet Garradd. This image is a wide angle 64 second shot of the summer triangle with our Canon A540 and the CHDK software, and a green laser pointer indicating the Coathanger asterism. This is where Comet Garradd was that night, but it does not show in this image.

The this is looking west over the observatory with the allsky camera dome near the bottom centre of the image.
