This day was to turn the soil over and rake it smooth to make it ready for the dibbler we use to plant garlic cloves.<br \/>\nThe big tiller cannot get up and into the bed, so it has to be done by hand.<br \/>\nWe did find four more potatos from this years previous harvest \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nWe have had a few nights of hard (-3C or colder) frost so are planning to plant this Saturday 2024 October 19th, when the highs are expected to be around +15C<br \/>\nWe also managed to acquire four straw bales from a local supplier, which will be used to cover the garlic for the winter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a 90 second timelapse (x10) video of prepping the garden for fall planting of garlic.
