We got rain that we needed, and in the transient sleep I saw lighting flashes, strange squeels and the noise of the fan.<\/p>\n<p>Getting up and going for a walk this morning, Venus was covered by cloud in the east, but the full moon was 15 degrees off the western horizon, with a small tinge of pink. The sun was rising behind the clouds but illuminating the rest of the sky.<\/p>\n<p>Since the strange noise in the night kept me looking for evidence of something , there was a lonely flea collar with tufts of white fur on either side of the road&#8230;&#8230;poor creature. <\/p>\n<p>The creek is very low, but the slow trickling sounds make for a pleasant sound.  <\/p>\n<p>The walk was very nice, with a slow southern breeze and the little foxes running around, they are almost adult size now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a very restless sleep overnight, very hot and muggy.
