{"id":398,"date":"2009-03-20T18:05:04","date_gmt":"2009-03-20T23:05:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/starlightcascade.ca\/blog\/?p=398"},"modified":"2009-03-20T18:05:04","modified_gmt":"2009-03-20T23:05:04","slug":"spring-has-sprung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starlightcascade.ca\/blog\/2009\/03\/spring-has-sprung\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring has sprung"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At 7:44 am 11:44 UT\u00a0 Spring officially came, and asked Old man winter to leave.\u00a0 The skies were clear and the moon hung in the SE like a Christmas tree ornament.\u00a0 Though the temperatures were cool all day at 4C, the wind was from the North, making it cool, and a reminder that winter doesn&#8217;t want to leave.<\/p>\n<p>Many errands were ran, and the rest of the afternoon was ours.\u00a0 The new coldframe was put together and placed in the 3rd raised bed garden. The two coldframes on the south side of the greenhouse was planted with Artic King and Rouge Hivre lettuce seed.\u00a0 The greenhouse was filled with seedelings and the heat was put on to keep them warm.\u00a0 On Saturday, the rest of the peppers (though late) and tomatoes and flowers will be planted.
