The object in the centre of the image is Jupiter.<br \/>\nFarther up you get Betelgeuse and Rigel.<br \/>\nDown near the bottom centre is the star Capella and up at the top the star Sirius.<\/p>\n<p>Funny how there doesn&#8217;t seem to be a lot of meteors in the image.  The system triggers and saves based on a motion detection system.  Most of the time these are false positives from passing traffic (ie car headlights).<br \/>\nYou can see each individual frame <a href=\"\/allsky2\/\">here<\/A>.<br \/>\nThe double parallel lines in the upper right are car headlights from the newspaper delivery guy around 04:30 local time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new code written to process the nights images from the allsky2 camera system has worked and the result of last night appears here: This is a compilation of 27 images from last night.
