We actually had small bits&#8217;o&#8217;snow mixed in, but no killing frost.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully it will have hurt the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Spruce_Budworm\" target=\"_blank\">Spruce Budworms<\/a> which we first spotted 3 days back while pulling grass out of the front flower beds.<\/p>\n<p>The next few days will also be cool\/cold and tomatos may not be able to be transplanted out of the greenhouse and into the ground.<br \/>\nThe last of the pile&#8217;o&#8217;dirt should be transplanted from the front to the back, a lot of grass will be cut and pulled and with luck, we will be exhausted but done in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a close one this morning (Friday 2013 May 24) &#8230; a low temperature of 1.2 deg C out back from our weather station in Veg4.
