We also have 7&#8242; of LeeValley nylon mesh deer fence, mostly around the perimeter.  In one spot a Tanzy? bush grew into it and took it (the fencing) out and we never got around to replacing it.<\/p>\n<p>Well, we have now!<\/p>\n<p>It walked through the beds, pulled up many heirloom tomatos, ate the leaves off others, and generally walked on a lot of stuff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometime Monday\/Tuesday night (2013 June 10\/11), a deer commando squad broke its way into our vegetable patch.
