Sunday 2013 September 8th, showed a beautiful 3 1\/2 day old crescent moon conjunction with the planet Venus. This first image is a wide angle view to establish the scale, from the parking lot of the Kingston Shopping Centre.<\/p>\n

The camera is a Canon Powershot A2400IS and all of the images are handheld.
\nThe 2nd image is at full optical zoom (x5) with the Moon, Venus and a parking lot light.<\/p>\n

The last image is at full digital zoom (x20), which in reality is just full optical (x5) and digitally cropping out the outside pixels.
