The BBC intends to broadcast the episode in 76 countries simultaneously in order to avoid plot leaks. It is set to be the world’s biggest drama simulcast. <\/p>\n

It is a good show. We started watching the latest incarnation a couple of years back and have not looked back since. We have been looking forward to the annual Christmas special that normally preceeds the next series, but this 50th anniversary special will be an extra special bonus.<\/p>\n

There are a couple of campaigns going on, one of which is on twitter #SaveTheDay
\nWhat day? Saturday November 23rd, 2013. When it will be broadcast is a little bit up in the air at the moment. The Canadian cable channel Space<\/a> shows: 2:50 EST, 11:50 PST but that does not quite sound correct. hmm no am or pm indicators.<\/p>\n

The Day of the Doctor premieres on BBC One, at 7.50pm on Saturday, 23 November. That makes it 19:50 London Time, which is +5 hours? making it 14:50 EST
\nThat makes more sense actually, 8pm local time in London, prime time Saturday evening.
\nFor us here in the Eastern Standard Time zone that would translate into 3pm Saturday afternoon. <\/p>\n
