The first server (with SSD Drive) completed in less than 15 minutes.  It came up well, no issues and continues to run well.<br \/>\nThe 2nd server (with spinning SATA  Drive) took  37 minutes.  It too had no issues and continues to run well.<\/p>\n<p>The 3rd server this morning had problems.  Boy did it have problems.<br \/>\nThe same process ran fine for the most part.<br \/>\nsudo dnf upgrade &#8211;refresh<br \/>\nsudo dnf install dnf-plugin-system-upgrade<br \/>\nsudo dnf system-upgrade download &#8211;releasever=28<\/p>\n<p>Transaction Summary<br \/>\n==============================================================================================<br \/>\nInstall     145 Packages<br \/>\nUpgrade    2142 Packages<br \/>\nRemove        1 Package<br \/>\nDowngrade    18 Packages<br \/>\nTotal download size: 1.5 G<\/p>\n<p>sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot<\/p>\n<p>after reboot.. it was running a fedora27 kernel.<br \/>\nLinux version 4.16.5-200.fc27.i686+PAE<br \/>\nnuts!<br \/>\nTry again<br \/>\nsudo  dnf system-upgrade download &#8211;releasever=28<br \/>\nBefore you continue ensure that your system is fully upgraded by running &#8220;dnf &#8211;refresh upgrade&#8221;.
