Low altitude&#8230; one of these days I will be able to stay up late enough to capture mars overhead&#8230; if the cloud cooperate!<\/p>\n<p>Lastly.. how to compare against known references to identify surface features&#8230; We have the Mars Previewer from Sky and telescope, Stellarium, The British Astronomical Association Mars Mapper.
