\nThe International Space Station passed over our location last night.. a low pass, peaking at 24 deg altitude. The issue was twilight… it was not dark enough to use a full 30 second exposure nor a higher ISO to capture more background stars. So we have to lower the ISO and exposure to a compromise. This chart is from heavens-above.com, the premium satellite pass prediction website.<\/p>\n

Below are three images, each a 20 sec exposure, showing the ISS coming low out of the west, heading SSE.<\/p>\n

This is taken with a Canon T7i DSLR on a tripod, using a 2 second timer.. and it was about -8C with a good stiff wind.<\/p>\n\n\n
