\nGordon Rupert Dickson (November 1, 1923 \u2013 January 31, 2001) was a Canadian-American science fiction writer. He was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame in 2000.<\/p>\n

Dickson was born in Edmonton, Alberta, in 1923. After the death of his father, he moved with his mother to Minneapolis in 1937.[2] He served in the United States Army, from 1943 to 1946, and received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, in 1948<\/p>\n

Our Library is quite large now, and we have started thinking about selling pieces of it off. However, before that happens, there is still time to acquire more of Gordon’s works.
\nThis led to the first instance of walking into a used book store in over two years (COVID). Turns out there was new management at Bookland on outer Princess St in Kingston and the selection is still good.
\nI managed to pick up quite a few but the total of the collection is still less than 25% of his works. <\/p>\n
