City Park - Original site of the Kingston Observatory

All that remains is a historical plaque. In the image to the left is the plaque dedication on Saturday November 02, 1985 with Dr. AV Douglas in the centre, Dr. VA Hughes on the right, and Dr. John Downie on the left.
The plaque itself went missing in 1997 and only recently was found in a ditch outside of Kingston and returned to the Park (in 2003).
