A very long night and into the morning for the last Titan shadow transit of Saturn for another 13+? years.

It worked! We Got One!

The transparency was poor with the almost full moon within a few degrees of Saturn. Seeing however, started out as average and then went to poor.

I had not known that Titan was already in transit.. good thing I started a little early and captured that as well.

This image shows Titan only, as it was taken at 04:17 UTC, before the shadow transit started. The colour balance was wayyy off.. I blame the Moon.

This one shows both the shadow transit (top) and the moon Titan, at 05:05 UTC, the best before the seeing went really bad.

This is an animated GIF (about 2MB) of all 28 runs, really showing the DETERIORATING seeing.
