Last big IYA event until the fall

Last night was our last big event of the International Year of Astronomy until the fall. It was a Public Lecture at BioSciences Complex Room 1101 Queens University with Prof. Sandra Faber 2 speaking on: A Room with a View: Perspectives from Earth on the Cosmos.
Kim, Susan and myself joined the Queens folks in welcoming 204 people to the talk where we passed out a lot of IYA material. Great talk too… some of the best cosmological simulations we’ve ever seen. Dr. Faber was a great speaker… we would encourage anyone who has the chance to go out of their way to hear her.
