The Cancer Society Relay for Life was held in Napanee on Friday June 11th and we attended with telescopes and 100 packages of handouts with various astronomical stuff inside (Terry Dickinson’s Skynews magazine, the RASC IYA star finder, 7 trading cards, The Sidewalk Astronomer booklet, star charts and satellite prediction sheets for the night) all enclosed in a zip lock bag.

We brought along the Centre’s 25cm Douglas telescope along with a couple of solar scopes for observing earlier in the day.
