Thoughts from Starlight Cascade

We stopped in at the Kingston Gardening Festival Friday after work.
It was at the same location as last year, the Portsmouth Olympic Harbour.
Nice to see the first garden show of the year even if it was a cold and rainy day.
It was nice and not overly crowded at all. Admission price is getting steep for what is there. I’m beginning to think that organizers are looking on it more and more as a cash cow rather than a festival of spring and not-gouging.
Lee Valley, present last year, did not make an appearance this year, along with Home Depot and Lowes. Too bad. Canadian Tire and Rona had displays.
