We’ve had a small Mantis brand tiller for some years now. It is great for cultivating weeds, for mixing in compost and for mixing in composted sheep manure.
It did not do a great or good job at clearing out weeds. So we had been searching for some months for a used, mid sized tiller and eventually we found one last month.
In the month since, it has been cleaned up, taken apart, put back together, and eventually started for the first time last night.

Where the Mantis tiller got all clogged up in the first 10′ section, this machine went through the grass and weeds like they were not even there. It was a little hard to maneuver in the small spaces we have but it did a great job.

Come the fall when we prepare the garlic beds, again this will be awesome.
