testing the lens

We purchased a canon 75-300mm zoom lens for astronomy purposed, but have not yet had a lot of chance to try it out.
So in the daylight of the backyard yesterday, we imaged a tiny songbird on its birdhouse. Focus was exceptional.

Good enought focus to actually try and identify this bird.
Haveto remember to check the camera clock as well… not too important for bird stuff, but much moreso for the partial solar eclipse coming up next month.
