This is the main work surface in the observatory, located on the north side. In the roof rebuild, the work surface was relocated to the south side, so as to give us more room with the telescopes on the north side with a better southern view.

This is a pretty simple work surface, slightly inclined, with outer support legs that go back to the wall, so as to stay out of the way. It was built in 2015 May and is surviving well.

The roof is mostly completed, with expected “first light” on Sunday.
