Analog.. who knew?
I have been reading, buying and collecting the Analog SF “pulp magazine” for decades. They are the ones usually in discount piles along with romance novels and other low value items.
The other day we drove to a bookstore in Trenton Ontario where I found five more issues that I did not have. Bonus day! Then I saw they were priced at $5 each! Wow! The resale value of my collection just went up… wayyy up! 🙂
In any event, this collection is one of those collections that will never ever be complete.. but it is fun to hunt down and pick up one more and then another.. and another.
There is a bookstore in Brockville that carries a few and another in Gananoque that does not 🙁
The approx count is 391 with the oldest of 1960 Sept. Prior to that it was known as Astounding Science Fiction and we have a 1949 November issue of that.
