Saturn from this morning.
34th imaging session of 2026.
Best 15% 12K frames, seeing average 5/10, transparency average 5/10

before this run the finderscope mount was repaired as was the telrad heater. We had to realign all three before it was functional again. For a short time we also had a funny glitch in the skywatcher azeq6r mount.. where every second it would bump/jar and the image showed it as well. Parked and restarted and all seemed well again.

Still using registax for wavelets.. wavesharp is going to require some dedicated time.. perhaps in the cloudy winter, to get sharper wavelets processed. I increased the Region of Interest to try andcapture Titan in the upper left, but it was not enough. You can barely make out a little dot of a smudge. Tethys and Rhea should also be in this image, closer in on the left and lower left. Wavesharp brought these out as it can identify Saturn, mask it and process objects outside the mask separately.
