Winter woes

Some months back, our wind speed sensor iced up. When I got up there atop a stepladder seated on snow, in an attempt to loosen it and get it spinning again, I broke it.
Last weekend I managed to effecting a repair. Guess what… super glue sucks. and doesn’t glue. After 30 minutes (3 attempts) at applying the glue and holding in place atop a swaying ladder (on the ground this time but with a good wind), nothing. Switched over to contact cement and it seems to be holding.

Updated April 19th: After 10 days the repair is holding up. Contact cement rules!
