Venus, the Moon, Jupiter, 15 sec, 2012 march 25


This is the triple conjunction of Venus (top), the Moon and Jupiter (bottom), in a 15 second exposure with a Canon Powershot A540 camera on a tripod.

This completes a one lunar cycle encounter with the two planets. Jupiter is headed quickly towards the sun and Venus is heading out for a maximum elongation from the sun tomorrow (tuesday March 27th, 2012).
