The Lennox and Addington Horticultural Society has taken on the community service job of tending to the gardens at the Napanee Library.
We visited the site on Sunday July 1st, 2012 for a good first hand view and made some tentative plans about what needed to be done and who would start doing them. We have a known volunteer base of 5 people to start and are always looking for more.
The eastern main entrance was targeted first as the most visible to the public are that needed weeding and trimming.
We started on the western/lower/rear level entrance and decided to work on the weed on and inbetween the patio stone.
