It was a very restless sleep overnight, very hot and muggy. We got rain that we needed, and in the transient sleep I saw lighting flashes, strange squeels and the noise of the fan.
Getting up and going for a walk this morning, Venus was covered by cloud in the east, but the full moon was 15 degrees off the western horizon, with a small tinge of pink. The sun was rising behind the clouds but illuminating the rest of the sky.
Since the strange noise in the night kept me looking for evidence of something , there was a lonely flea collar with tufts of white fur on either side of the road……poor creature.
The creek is very low, but the slow trickling sounds make for a pleasant sound.
The walk was very nice, with a slow southern breeze and the little foxes running around, they are almost adult size now.
