Close one this morning

It was a close one this morning (Friday 2013 May 24) … a low temperature of 1.2 deg C out back from our weather station in Veg4. We actually had small bits’o’snow mixed in, but no killing frost.
Hopefully it will have hurt the Spruce Budworms which we first spotted 3 days back while pulling grass out of the front flower beds.
The next few days will also be cool/cold and tomatos may not be able to be transplanted out of the greenhouse and into the ground.
The last of the pile’o’dirt should be transplanted from the front to the back, a lot of grass will be cut and pulled and with luck, we will be exhausted but done in a couple of weeks.
