Some interesting numbers from the past 4 years.
We record information at every gas fillup with our vehicle and we do try to manage the balance between dollar averaging purchases and not having an empty tank (or 1/4 tank in the winter).
But it was very surprising to see the average cost per litre to be so similar over the last 4 years.
Also surprising was the number of km driven. Very close to one another with 2013 being an exceptional year.
