Last night was a good example of the downside of rolloff observatories. Yes it was clear but it was also very windy and gusty and the Telescope was vibrating like crazy.

This is an example of the best 5% of frames and the artefacts generated by wind.
With a rolloff roof design the telescope would be sheltered and much more stable.

So the best of the 7 runs was this: which also showed a surprise… the shadow transit of Callisto! I was unaware of this event until after processing this morning. This was the best 10% of 14K frames at 3ms each. The Great Red Spot is about the only major feature seen.
