An early imaging session of Saturn this morning. The best image turned out to be one of the first before it got too bright at 08:09 UTC (04:09EDT). This is the best 15% of 12K frames captured. The last quarter moon was nearby and the skies were bright from dawn. Seeing was poor 2/10, transparency was poor 2/10
Altitude was up to 34 degrees.. getting better each session.
Each run was 180seconds with exposures around 14ms each.
The shadow of Saturn (on the lower right) projected onto the rings is becoming quite distinct.
The Cassini division is quite evident as well.
