allsky camera settles down
the saga of the allsky cam continues… after replacing a network switch, resplicing some cat 5 cables , checking and rechecking, we kept getting intermittent failures on the network. After discovering another potential issue, that was resolved and things have been stable for a few days now.
Time is slipping away and the current exposure times need changing.
The first exposure of the night is now 21:42 and this can be moved a little earlier now that the sun is setting sooner.
We are taking 181 exposures throughout the night at 2 minutes each.
The system takes its last exposure around 04:15 and shuts down, with the power being turned off a short time later. The last 04:15 image is also showing mostly dark and the exposure range can be extended to 04:30.
