According to our 2011 RASC Observers calendar, Jupiter was at opposition yesterday, Friday October 28th. So we were out looking at it at 6:30am EDT for a short time in the morning and then again last evening, using the telescope imaging system to record a few hundred images. This is one of the better ones taken at 22:06 edt.
This is with a 20cm Meade LX200 and a Meade LPI camera producing 640×480 pixel images.
