We normally visit the Verona Garlix Festival, held the last weekend in August, but this year we will not be able to make it. So instead we travelled 90 minutes up to Perth for the first time to see their Garlic Festival. It was great. A two day event, bigger than the Verona event and actually two days long.
Lots of vendors, lots of garlic, lots of fun.
We chatted with Ted the Garlic Man for quite a bit. It was nice to see him still moving around.

As added entertainment, the Raptor Conservancy of Canada put on a show with 5 birds, including this Great Horned Owl
