This is one of three veg beds that we have tomatos planted in this year. So far, in the last three days alone, we have lost 13 of the transplanted plants. Bummer!
They were protected from cutworms bu toothpicks planted beside the stalk, but more often it looks like perhaps a robin came in and landed on them, breaking them right off.
In some cases, we lost all three of a type, like sunrise bumblebee. Many of the Livingston collection have also suffered casualties.
